Once you have configured your statements, you can preview an example of the Giving Statement that your community will receive. This is a great time to review what the statements will look like and confirm the contact details that were previously entered.
Formatting and design
The giving statements have been optimized to show a clear, complete summary of a donor's tax-deductible donations. The statements will include your existing logo and branding preferences already active in Pushpay. They have also been designed to be either emailed or printed to allow you to send printed versions to donors lacking an email address.
The header showing the address and name of the recipient has been designed to fit US Window Envelopes #10. You will need to add your return address on the envelope. Your organization's logo, name, custom colors, EIN number and mailing address will be given on the statements. It is important that you confirm and/or correct any organization details that are displayed on your statements at this time.
The statements will include all tax-deductible donations, recorded through Pushpay, and given to your organization in the selected period. Statements will include a total given during the selected period to help your donors find the information they need quickly. Statements will also include line items for each donation so donors can review their statement history. This section will include the Fund name, but not any memos or notes associated with the donation. If you need to review or re-generate an individual Giving Statement, you can do so from Community Members.
Once you have previewed your statements and confirmed your organization and contact details, you can proceed with generating your statements.
- Click Next. Here, you will be shown a count of statements to be generated.
- Click Generate. At this time, we will begin creating your giving statements in a PDF format. Once the process is underway, you can track the progress of statement generation at the top of the page. You can leave this page at any time and will see confirmation of completion on the main Giving Statements tab.
Once you're done, you can continue on to Step 3: Issue your statements
