Pushpay's Recurring Migration tool is meant to support you in moving your recurring giving from one platform over to Pushpay.
Recurring Migration provides organizations with a templated, customizable campaign that allows you to send emails to your donors to ask them to move their recurring gift to Pushpay. Each email includes a unique link that allows the recipient to create a new Pushpay account (or log in to an existing one) and set up a gift through Pushpay with the same frequency, amount and fund as their gift in your existing platform.
During the migration you can use a realtime dashboard to measure your progress and follow up with donors.

How does it work?
From the migration start date, customized email templates are sent by our system on your behalf.
As the campaign progresses a summary dashboard is updated in realtime. This dashboard provides an at-a-glance view of the number of gifts that have been set up in Pushpay, the value of migrated gifts per month, how much time is left in the campaign, and how many gifts still need to be migrated.
You can even drill into the data further to see and export a list of who has/hasn't migrated and who's email has bounced.
Preparing your data
To use Recurring Migration you will need a file containing details of each recurring gift, we refer to these as schedules. A schedule tells us the amount of the gift, the frequency, and some basic details for the giver including their email address.
Preparing your data for import will entail carrying out some simple steps using tools such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
Importing your schedules
Once you have your data ready to import, simply go to Recurring > Recurring Migration in the Pushpay portal. You will be guided through the rest of the process.
Email and migration settings
Once you have uploaded your schedules you will have the option to start your migration. There are some settings you will need to consider, such as when you want your migration period to start and end and what contact email address and phone number you would like to use.
Finally, at this stage we would encourage you to customize each of the invite emails that will be sent. While the emails will carry the same branding as your giving receipts, most wording can be modified and you can also include an optional video in your first email.
